Credit Union History
In 1981, the Price Chopper Employees Federal Credit Union was formed to provide financial services with the benefit of payroll deduction to the employees of the Golub Corporation/Price Chopper associates. The credit union offered membership for a par value of $5.00, which is still in effect today.
In 26 years, the credit union is now over 6,500 members strong with assets over 16 million dollars. The office has moved over time and has been in its current location for over 7 years. The credit union offers loans of all types: personal, new and used auto, home equity, debt consolidation, and home mortgages. We offer various savings accounts ranging from share savings accounts, term share savings accounts, money market accounts, holiday savings accounts, and share draft checking accounts. We offer a VISA Credit card, a VISA Debit card, ATM cards, free internet account access, free automated phone access to your account, and electronic bill payment.
Our vision and goal is to be your financial institution.
